I had a dream that I was flying to Hawaii with my husband but we were making a stop in Russia for some reason. When we got to Russia we were on a little train that was running through water and we got stopped by the military and every one escaped except me. I talked to the two guards for awhile as we were walking to somewhere in Russia and one guard decided that I was going to be able to escape Russia if I survived getting out. The brought me to the edge of a concrete walking area where there was a wooded area below with lots of trees. The one guard said that two men would show up and I'd have to pick which one I trusted to get me out of Russia the quickest. He whispered to me which one to pick. The guards left and I was looking down the deep wooded ravine area and jumped off. I thought I'd be able to catch myself on something but I feel for awhile before I was able to find my footing. After that I hid in the wooded ravine until two men showed up. I watched them for awhile pretty scared until I walked out from behind them and they wanted to know why I was hiding and I said because I wasn't sure if this had been a trick or not. they introduced themselves and I picked the one the guard told me to pick to get me out of Russia and then we started walking in the Ravine towards some old dilapidated buildings. The other man rode off on his bike and I wondered if I should have picked him because riding the bike would be faster than walking. The man I picked to get me out of Russia brought me to a building where he seemed like he was lost and I was feeling like the guard tricked me but I continued to follow the man until I woke up.
Dreams of flying often symbolize a sense of freedom and escape, reflecting a desire to rise above challenges in waking life. In your dream, flying to Hawaii with your husband suggests a longing for a joyous or idyllic experience, highlighting your connection with your spouse and potentially a shared desire for adventure or relaxation. The stop in Russia is intriguing, as it may represent an unexpected obstacle or detour in your journey, symbolizing a challenge or a situation that is unfamiliar or intimidating.
The little train running through water illustrates fluidity and movement, yet the military presence introduces a sense of conflict or constraint, suggesting that while you seek freedom, there are external forces attempting to impose limitations. The fact that everyone escaped except you may reflect feelings of isolation or being left behind in some aspect of your life. This could be related to personal insecurities or a fear of not being able to rise to the occasion in certain situations.
The interaction with the guards further emphasizes a struggle with authority or control. The guard's decision to allow you to potentially escape highlights the duality of trust and fear. It symbolizes a critical moment in your life where you're weighing your options and the people you can rely on to help you navigate through uncertainty. The suggestion given by the guard carries the theme of trust versus intuition; while he has provided direction, it also challenges your own decision-making ability.
Jumping off into the wooded ravine could symbolize a leap of faith—taking risks to achieve freedom or escape from a difficult situation. The fear you experience during the fall may correlate with apprehensions about the choices you make or the potential consequences of those decisions. Finding your footing relates to resilience and the ability to adapt to challenges, suggesting that despite the fear, you have the capability to navigate your circumstances.
The two men you encounter can embody different aspects of choice. The one you were led to trust indicates a reliance on guidance from others, yet questioning whether you made the right decision, as expressed by your thoughts on the man who rode away on his bike, emphasizes self-doubt. The internal conflict regarding your choice symbolizes a desire for quick solutions contrasted with the slower, more thoughtful approach you followed.
Overall, your dream reflects your journey of self-discovery, highlighting themes of trust, decision-making, and navigating obstacles. It suggests that while external influences play a role, your intuition and courage are essential to find your path. As you wake up from this dream, consider what areas of your life currently feel like a detour or where you might need to harness your trust and decision-making abilities to discern the right path forward.
